These Terms of Purchase govern the contracts of sale of the artisan sweets made by Monasterio del Sancti Spíritus el Real – MM. Dominicas (Tax ID R4900016I), entered into through the website https://dominicasdetoro.es, and are binding on both parties.
1. Prices
The prices shown next to each product are total prices and include the applicable VAT. The corresponding shipping costs are added to them and are indicated before the purchase is completed. Prices are expressed in euros (€). The Monastery reserves the right to modify prices; the applicable price will be the one in force at the time the order is placed. Before confirming the purchase, the order details, shipping costs and, where applicable, the discounts available are displayed.
2. Purchase process
To place an order, add the products to the basket and follow the steps indicated until the purchase is completed. Once the order has been confirmed you will receive a confirmation email. The order is prepared once payment has been verified.
3. Payment methods
You can pay for your order by:
- Bank transfer: make the transfer to the account indicated during the purchase process and in the confirmation email, using the order number as the reference. The order will be processed and dispatched once the amount has been credited (normally within 1-3 working days).
- Cash on delivery: pay in cash to the transport company at the time of delivery. We recommend having the exact amount ready.
Payment fraud is a criminal offence; the Monastery may take whatever legal action is appropriate against any fraudulent transaction.
4. Shipping and delivery times
Shipping costs and times are as follows:
- Spain (mainland): € 6.00 per order. Free shipping on orders of € 20.00 or more. Estimated delivery time: 48/72 hours.
- Rest of the European Union (except Spain): € 18.00 per order.
Delivery is made through a transport agency, to the address given by the customer. There are no collections or deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. At particular times of year (for example, Christmas) or in extraordinary circumstances, delivery times may be subject to delay. The Monastery accepts no liability where delivery cannot be made because of inaccurate or incomplete details provided, or because the recipient is absent. On receiving your order, check that the packaging has not been tampered with; if it has, record this on the delivery note.
5. Packaging
All orders are packed carefully, with boxes and protective materials suited to the nature of the products.
6. Withdrawal and returns
In accordance with article 103 of the consolidated text of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, the right of withdrawal does not apply to foodstuffs liable to deteriorate rapidly, nor to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene once unsealed, as is the case with our sweets.
Nevertheless, if you are not satisfied, you can write to us at info@dominicastoro.es within 7 days of receiving the order. We will accept the return of products that are unopened, sealed and in perfect condition (original product and packaging). If the product arrives faulty or there has been an error in the shipment, the Monastery will bear the costs and will either replace the product or refund the amount. Where the return is for personal reasons of the customer, the cost of returning the goods will be at the expense of the customer.
